When You Are the One in Need of Care

This module explores what happens when caregiving no longer follows the path we expected.

Through lived experiences drawn from the podcast, this module invites caregivers to slow their focus from long timelines to present moments, to recognize role reversals as expressions of connection rather than loss, and to understand how caregiving can hold purpose even in the middle of grief.

The module also examines advocacy, vulnerability, and the systems caregivers must navigate when loved ones can no longer speak for themselves, highlighting the emotional and legal labour that often goes unseen.

This is not a module about fixing caregiving.

It is a module about living inside it more honestly, noticing what shifts when expectations loosen, and learning how care can be shared, interrupted, and reimagined without losing meaning.

Caregivers will leave this module with a deeper understanding of presence, adaptation, and the quiet resilience that develops when care is carried one moment at a time.
